Bob Eakin, a seasoned alternative investment fund manager, has cultivated his expertise through key roles in the financial sector. Since January 2014, he has served as the CEO of Jcap, overseeing fund management, investor relations, underwriting, direct growth initiatives, mentorship, and service. Prior to this, his impactful tenure as CEO at Jayco Capital Group from 2000 to 2013 positioned him as a leader in the multi-billion-dollar mortgage bank realm. During this time, he underwrote substantial deals, spearheaded organic growth, mentored emerging talent, and maintained a commitment to service-oriented leadership. With a foundation in mortgage consultancy from roles at Great Western Bank and California Federal Bank in the early ’90s, Bob Eakin brings a wealth of experience. His career trajectory showcases consistent leadership, innovation, and a deep commitment to fostering growth within the alternative investment landscape. Holding BS degrees in Political Science & Economics from UC Irvine, he possesses a comprehensive understanding of the economic landscape, further enhancing his strategic approach to fund management.

AARON SIEFKER
Senior Analyst, Partner

Aaron Siefker, currently Partner at Jcap Private Lending since 2017, is a versatile part of the team with expertise in origination, underwriting, and loan closures for commercial properties. Prior to Jcap, as Founder and President of Zero Nine Products LLC from 2012 to 2017, he successfully introduced sports training products, navigated patents, managed overseas manufacturing, and effectively marketed products globally. Siefker’s multifaceted skill set includes self-motivation, industry knowledge, continuous learning, and organizational prowess, making him a highly capable professional in fund management, drawing from experiences in athletics, entrepreneurship, and finance.

JENNI ROBINSON
Fund Manager

Jenni Robinson brings a diverse skill set to Jcap. She provides extensive expertise in loans and operations within the lending industry. Responsible for overseeing the underwriting compliance department, she crafts clear objectives aligned with corporate policies and meticulously analyzes applicants’ financial status, creditworthiness, and property evaluations. Her comprehensive involvement spans the entire lending process, from processing to underwriting, closing, and post-closing activities. She has consistently excelled in coordinating files for funding, managing technology, and maintaining operational efficiency. Jenni’s multifaceted skills, demonstrated through hands-on loan management, managerial tasks, and technological proficiency, coupled with certifications in FHA/CHUMS and continuous learning, position her as a highly qualified and adaptable professional in loans and operations.

DONNA CORNEJO
Marketing, Loan Servicing

Bringing over a decade of unwavering dedication to the loan industry, Donna stands as a seasoned professional with a unique distinction, having spent more than 10 years exclusively at Jcap in the dynamic realm of mortgage loan servicing. This extended tenure attests to her commitment and underscores her profound understanding of the intricacies of managing loans. While navigating the complexities of loan servicing, Donna holds a cherished priority in spending quality time with her two wonderful sons. This dual commitment to family and professional excellence paints a comprehensive portrait of Donna’s character, establishing her as a respected and well-rounded presence in the industry.

BLAKE MELSTROM
Account Executive

Blake Melstrom joins us as a former commercial mortgage loan broker with over 15 years of experience in financing residential and all commercial real estate property types.  He has held the position of Vice President for some of the most respectable mortgage banking firms in Orange County.  Born and raised in Los Angeles County, Blake made his home in Orange County after attending and graduating from California State University of Fullerton with a major in Business Administration and a concentration in Finance.  Over the course of Blake’s career, he has closed over $1 Billion in loans with Life Insurance Companies, CMBS, Banks and Credit Union Lenders.  With Blake’s background in Real Estate Finance, he brings a wealth of knowledge to the JCap Private Lending team.

In Blake’s downtime, he enjoys taking his dogs to the beach, hiking on the weekends and traveling with his wife.
